The emporer didn't hear her stomach, but felt her gaze. He stood, soothing the children with a glance back at their disappointed faces, and brought her a plate of assorted meat and vegitables. "Eat your veggies." he said to her, smiling. "The baby needs them, very badly. I can't imagine the nutrition its gotten recently, but it can't've been good for developement." It was a purposeful jab at her previous living arrangements. "How are you?" He asked while she ate.

She set the plate in her lap and began eating. She heard the jab to her prior living arrangements and didn't respond, knowing it would only make the Emperor mad if she talked back. She cleared her throat and looked up at him. "A little pain, but not too bad." She whispered, her voice still muted from the scream. After she finished her food, her body was ravaged by pain and she clutched her stomach, blood coming out from under the skirt. What's happening to me? She mouthed at the Emperor, tears falling down her face. Why am I bleeding? Once it was done, she bit her lower lip, looking at the blood that now stained her skirt.
